This page is a Showcase of what we at Bravo Kennel call our “GIANTS”. Any male 150 pounds and larger and any female 140 pounds and larger, we at Bravo Kennel consider to be in this Giant Category. As you will see we have many of these Giants.
In order to show the proper respect to all my Bravo Kennel Girls that have produced these Giants for Bravo Kennel, Hall of Fame Champion Bravo Kennel’s NAY-NA must be mentioned first. Although she weighs in now at 8 1/2 years old at only 136 pounds, in her heart, Drive, spirit, and accomplishments to the Presa Canario breed, she is a GIANT.
Hall of Fame Champion Bravo Kennel’s Nay-Na was the first Presa Canario Bred outside of Spain to be brought back to compete in Spain’s Biggest and most prestigious presa canario dog show. The Spanish Monografica. Bravo Kennel’s Nay-Na placed in the top 4 Adult female open class beating 16 other female Spanish Presa Canario’s and received 1 of the 4 points needed to become a Spanish Champion. Bravo Kennel’s Nay-Na also won “Best in Show” in 2008 at the USA Monografica and “Best in Show” in the 2008 DCCA National. All in the same year under Spanish judges. She was 1 1/2 years old at that time.
It is because of Hall of Fame Champion Bravo Kennel’s Nay-Na that Bravo Kennel has, and is still able to, produce these conformationally correct Giant Presa Canarios.
Over the course of the Hall of Fame Champion Bravo Kennel’s Nay-Na’s breedings, she was bred to three different males. Hall of Fame Champion Bravo Kennel’s Nay-Na produced Giants in ALL of her litters and many Presa Canario Champions as well. The Giant Gene came through in Nay-Na. Hall of Fame Champion Nay-Na has passed this Giant gene along to her daughters and we are still producing Giants from Nay-Na’s descendants now. Thank you, Nay-Na. We love you dearly and always will.
We hope you enjoy the Bravo Kennel’s Giants page and if you would like one of our Bravo Kennel’s Giants for yourself, please call me at 917-453-3226 or e-mail me at presas@bravokennel.com
